Soft Pretzel
1 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp yeast
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
3 cups all purpose flour
oil for greasing bowl
egg, for egg wash

500 ml water
1/2 cup baking soda

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
1. Heat milk  and butter to 100 degrees F
2. Dissolve yeast in milk, add sugar,let it stand for about 10 mins
3. In a mixing bowl, transfer yeast mixture, add salt and flour.
4. Knead until elastic
5. Transfer to greased bowl, allow to rise for 1 hr.
6. Boil water and baking soda
7. Shape pretzels, dip into boiling water/baking soda. lay on greased baking tray, brush with egg wash and sprinkle salt
8. Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown
